Macro Photography

Learning to grasp macro photography...

I'm on a journey to find out how to take macro pictures?! Macro photography is photography magnified. It's when we increase the size of the object in our picture from about half life-size, to five times life-size. A photo tip which I've only just recently learnt.

I began by taking a picture of a Bumble Bee

...but to me the Bumble Bee wasn't quite big enough, so a few days later, I grabbed my camera and walked into my garden which at the time was an overgrown piece of grassland. I searched for any kind of insect I could find and practiced with my camera macro photography...

The Fly

The Flying Ants

The Spider

As you can see, I still haven't quite grasped macro photography but I am getting closer to great macro shots. A year of practice and more advice about photo tips may do it?! I'll make sure that practicing often......and maybe one day I'll have that Great Macro Shot.

Remember to dream...and never give up!
